Are you excited for more cheesy valentine greatness?! Today we’ve got a colorful, non candy, treat today from my real life friend, Beth!

What’s up C.R.A.F.T. fans! I’m Beth, and I blog at Free Stylin’! I blog about “living a stylish life without the expensive pricetag.”
Today I wanted to share a cute Valentine craft for kids… using crayons!
Here’s what you need:
*heart shaped silicone ice cube tray (I found mine in a two pack @ Target for $3. Michael’s also had trays for under $2.)
* crayons (new or used)
* a knife
* cutting board
Step 1. Unwrap all the crayons. (Grab a chair, and turn on some fun music. This takes a few minutes.)
Step 2. Chop up the crayons.
Step 3. Place the crayon bits in the silicone tray.
Step 4. Set the ice cube tray on a cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes at 250*
Step 5. Once the crayons are completely cooled, pop them out of the tray.
Now comes the fun part: decorating your creation! I used free pink, white, and red paint samples from Wally World. Craft paper, card stock, or poster board also works. The papers and crayons were glued together using hot glue. Add a cute saying with pen, marker, or a typed out slip of paper.
Your child can sign the Valentine, too, if they want.
Super cute, right? And so kid friendly.
If you have a second, stop on by Free Stylin’! This week I made a YUMMY treat with the second heart shaped ice cube tray. Come take a look! You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Thanks so much for having me, Jamie! And Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

So cute! This makes me wish my kids were still in elementary school and needed Valentines to give out. We’d definitely do this! Guess I’ll have to wait for grandkids!
This is a cute idea. As a greatgr andma I’ll do some for neighbor kids. Thank you
I love this idea. I would love for you to come over to my blog hop and share this there!
