Although Halloween is over, you just never know when you might need to Wilma costume!
I did a DIY Adult Costume post, and mentioned making another Hobby Lobby T-shirt Dress… Talk about simple sewing!
Without further ado…
DIY Fred and Wilma Flintstone for a grand total of $15:

I found the Fred costume at Good Will for $5.00. Which is why I decided to make a Wilma.
Materials:
- White 3XL T-shirt from Hobby Lobby (1/2 price=$3)
- sewing machine
- 2 inch Styrofoam balls (1/2 price =$2)
- orange hair spray ($3)
I put the t-shirt on inside out and pinned up the sides to fit properly. Sewed 2 lines up the side of the t-shirt. Then I cut the neck off to make a one shoulder dress. I left all the edges raw. This took about 15 minutes. The necklace was just as simple. I used an ice pick to punch a hole threw the 2 inch styrofoam ball, and then strung them with a piece of string.
A tourist and a sailor… You can’t see his orange Croc’s but the whole thing was pretty entertaining, and his old school camera actually worked!
Happy Halloween!
