My fridge is covered in dinos and I like it a lot. Dino magnets sets are on the ol’ to do list for some very special neighbors, friends, and co-workers this year! I first saw the dino magnets on pinterst, from an adorable etsy store, The original animal magnet. The magnet store has great prices and tons of options (including golden rhinos!), but if you’re a gung ho crafter (like me!) here’s my dino magnet making method…
All you need is:
- a pack of plastic dinos. I got mine at K-mart. Here
is a perfect set of 12 dinos for $3.56!
- a utility knife
- paint and paint brush
- hot glue gun
- round magnets (Next time, I’m buying these
from Amazon.)
My dinos were solid all the way through… which made them perfect for gluing on magnets.
The dinos took a few coats of paint. I painted each dino with 4 coats of paint. I also painted the magnets to match the dino.
The last step is to hot glue the magnets to the dinos. Easy peasy chicken squeesy. Oh, and then hang ‘em up on the ol’ fridge and admire your dino-tastic work!
Would anyone you know like dino magnets? How about a dino planter? I think I’ve got a thing for dinos! I mean look at the sparkly T-rex with his little arms… he wants to hug me every time I open the fridge!
Psst… I’m hoping

these are so sweet!!
Dino butt magnets? You just made my day. I will be buying dinos very, very soon- just the photos alone make me happy, can’t fathom how ace a whole palaeolithic FRIDGE is going to be!!
haha! dino butt magnets… that made me laugh
The little dino tails are charming my face off right now! Love!
