Valentine Day Sayings

Hey C.R.A.F.T. readers! I am Bonnie from Uncommon Designs, where I blog with my sister-in-law and friend, Trish. I am so excited to be here today to share a super cute, and oh so little boy, Valentine treat with you. Check out my You’re The Bomb valentine idea….

You're the Bomb valentine

This little Valentine is super easy to make and I even have the You’re the Bomb Printable for you.

Here are the supplies you will need to create your own

You’re The Bomb Valentines…

Red Crepe Paper

Thick string or rope

Jute Twine

You’re the Bomb Printable

Small round candy…I used Lindor White Chocolate Truffles {YUM!}

Start by cutting small squares { about 4 inches } of the Red Crepe Paper. Then cut short lengths {about 5 inches} of both the twine and rope. Print out the printable {we designed it with 6 to a sheet} and cut it out. Punch a hole in the printable at the top, in the center. Place the candy in the center of the crepe paper, and pull the crepe paper up and around the candy. Tie the twine around the crepe paper with the tag threaded on. Place the piece of rope in it right before you tighten it the whole way. That is it. Simple and quick!

My son loves this idea. He thinks the rope as the fuse is really cool. I even made one for my teenage daughter but put a chapstick EOS egg inside of it. {she loves those!}

I just think these turned out precious! Now I am off to make about, oh 20 or so more for his classmates!
