C.R.A.F.T. #80: DIY tissue paper flowers

Remember the baby shower I told you about? These simple, crepe paper flowers will be used to embellish whatever needs to be embellished this weekend!

Materials: crepe paper (Hobby Lobby has it for $1 a roll), scissors, pen, brad

I just folded the paper like a fan and drew a petal shape with a pen…

After I cut out all of the petals I stuck them through the brad…

This is before maneuvering the petals, fluffing, and bending :)

I also discovered the flowers look cuter if you cut out a few smaller ones for the top of the flower… check out the dark blue flower. Experiment with petal shape! It’s fun and easy :) I used Elmer’s glue dots to stick the flowers on the tin buckets…I’m sure tape would work too!

more shapes and colors…

behind the scenes in my “studio”… ha!

As of now the tin pails (found on the side of the road for FREE) are going to be used as silverware, marker, napkin holders :) I’m sure they will end up a few more places too!
