FREEBIE: 4th of July

I love the 4th of July, history, and quotes! Here are 3 of my favorite tings all rolled into one…This quote is the introduction to our consitution… the preamble.——

I think it is good for kids ot be exposed to the ideas and concepts of our governement as early as possible. School House Rock is great way to introduce little ones to these conepts. I LOVE School House Rock, even for high schoolers! Talk to your kids about the preamble and inroduce the U.S. Consitution… What does united mean? What is justice? Why do we have a constitution? Why do we celebrate the 4th of July?  We live in a pretty amazing place…The United States of America–be proud!

Did you have to memorize this in 7th grade?  Do you love the 4th of July? Did you know National Constitution day is September 17th?
