Who wants a NeatReciepts for free? Got your attention! Perfect, read on my friend…
business receiptWe gave away a NeatDesk on C.R.A.F.T. a few months ago (see more here). Jacky (a super awesome South Florida blogger) won it, and you can see her review here! I decided it would be fun to do another giveaway before the holidays! NeatReceipts is a mobile scanner and digital filing system. It makes organizing paper a breeze. Both machines use the same software, but the NeatReceipts is lighter and more portable. Check out how clear a receipt scans. NeatReceipts autofills all the information from the receipt to the program. It’s greatness. (The Dollar Tree receipt is part of my Socks for Sandy shipment!)

  1. I store them in a shoebox and shuttle them around every time I move. Is that not how you are supposed to file them?

    • Erika Svard says:

Haha! A receipt here a receipt there! I need a neat receipt so I can organize them! Thanks for the giveaway , it’s awesome.

  2. Organize? I don’t that’s the major problem! I have been eyeing these for a while now, I want … NEED one so badly! What a fabulous giveaway!

  3. I’ve wanted one of these for a long time! Right now I use a software program to keep track of my checking account, then I file the receipts I think I may need in the future, and shred the rest. I would love to be more organized in this part of my life!!

  4. I sort them by category and by month and put them into a brown envelope. Although I’m a little lost about what to do with them once I have them sorted.

  5. This would help so much to keep me organized. I could get rid of so many files.

  6. My husband has been wanting one of these!! I’d love to win and give it to him for Christmas!! Thanks for the chance!!

  7. I have a mess with my receipts, they are everywhere…I try to be good but is hard when folders gets so full

  8. I throw most receipts away, and put things I may need to return on the fridge with a magnet and big ticket item receipts go in a binder with instruction manuals.

  9. Umm… you’re supposed to organize receipts?? lol. I’ve probably got about 20 crumpled up in the bottom of my purse…. that’s a system, right?

  10. I use a stand-alone hanging folder system, at least that’s what I try to do. For the most part, our receipts end up in one huge lump until I can’t take it anymore and have a day of massive organization.

  11. I throw them in a file folder and enter them or file them in one sitting. I’d LOVE to win this!

  12. I really don’t organize. They end up in piles until I throw them away…. unless they’re really important and then they end up in misc folders and I never find them again.

  13. Oh, man, I could you some organizing! Currently using drawers, pocketbook slot, etc.!

  14. I throw mine in an envelope and then very painstakingly go through them whenever a task requires those totals. THis would be awesome. Plus, I am growing my ebay business so I really, really, really need this :)

  15. I have been DYING to get one of these things but haven’t been able to afford it. I have boxes upon boxes of receipts to use this with!! Thanks for the opportunity :).

  16. This would be a GREAT tool to have! I’m terrible with receipts…

  17. I don’t organize my reciepts… that’s why I need this so bad!!

  18. Haha, my receipts ARENT organized/stored because I don’t have a Neat Receipt yet ;)

  19. I don’t keep a whole lot of receipts, only for a couple of reasons:

    – gift
    – think we may have to return (doesn’t fit, doesn’t flow with house style, etc)
    – item under warranty
    – grocery is only kept long enough to key into my savings tracker spreadsheet.

  20. Ha Ha they ride around in my purse until I throw them away…my husband and I love the Neat Receipt infomercial!!!

  21. Honestly, I don’t really organize my receipts very well. They end up in my bag and my wallet and then I stick them in a spreadsheet. Ugh! This little booger would be a LIFE saver!

  22. Stephanie M says:

Whoever gets this is SO lucky! I hate all of the little pieces of paper that consume my house quickly and effortlessly, so would love to be the lucky one.

  23. I have used one of the 1st NeatReceipts to keep organized, but I think we have used it to death! We need a new one!!

  24. Right now, I store my receipts in a filing cabinet, categorized by topic (equipment, supplies, etc.), but I have been DREAMING about using Neat Receipts!! Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway!

  25. The only organizing my receipts get right now is taking them out of my purse and putting them all in one box at home. Sometimes they don’t quite make it to the box, so I need to find a better way of keeping track of these lovely little papers. It sounds like NeatReceipts may be a great solution.

  26. Would LOVE to try one of these – need to go paperless or at least LESS paper!! Thanks for the opp to win!

  27. I have a file I put all my work expense receipts in and a 2nd file for all my big purchase item receipts in. The rest go in the trash!

  28. I have spent the last few months helping my mom clean, finding years of receipts that she kept because they might be important. I would love to get something like this for her so that she can scan them and throw them away!

  29. Kim Fahrni says:

    Lol…in a bunch in my purse o_O

  30. I organize receipts by throwing them all in a basket and then throwing them away only to find out that I need one…. I soooo need this!
    Thanks
    Susan

  31. mary fanara coleman says:

I have no organization of receipts at all.

  32. I shove them in a drawer and hope I find them when I need them… :-/

  33. Louise in NE OK says:

I don’t keep most receipts because of the volume of paper I would have. The receipts for purchases of items that have a warranty, I put the receipt in the instruction and/or installation material. It would be wonderful to have a way to organize receipts to keep track of spending. Thanks for the opportunity!

  34. I try to organize my receipts by sorting into files but have found many receipts fade over time making them difficult to read

  35. They are currently in a huge box and I stare at them occasionally. Bad stuff happening…

  36. Stephanie Lanphear says:

I don’t know that I would call it “organized”. I stick them in envelopes, on the dresser, in a basket on the counter…

  37. Stephanie Lanphear says:

I wouldn’t really call it organized, I stick them in an envelope, on the dresser, a basket on the counter…

  38. I have a coupon file and try to empty (edit) them once a year.

  39. Mindy Gardzinski says:

I ‘file’ them in the bottom of my purse…haha

  40. I have an accordion folder that I keep receipts in, but I wouldn’t really call them organized…

  41. Nancy Carr says:

My current method is putting receipts in envelopes and hopefully I can find them when I need them. Does not work well!!!

  42. soha molina says:

    right now, manually

  43. I have no system of sorting receipts, they float around in the bottom of my handbag and clog up my purse until I need them. This would fix all of my problems!

  44. I don’t have an organizational plan for receipts. I do have a gallon ziplock bag with each month written on it and I just put them in there until it is time to gather my tax information for the accountant.

  45. I’ve want /need one so bad. Live in a very limited space and am trying to stay organized. Feel like drowning in papers/receipts. Asked Santa for one, but over his budget:(

  46. They get thrown into a basket and I am ALWAYS going through a zillion pieces of paper looking for a specific receipt regularly.

  47. Haha, I have no way, a receipt here and a receipt there, I need this! Thanks for the awesome giveaway

  53. My receipts go into a bag. Unfortunately, I can’t find the right receipt when I need it.

  58. We don’t have a system yet. My husband keeps them in a pile on his computer desk.

  59. Jackie Baynard says:

This would be great to start the new year with!

  60. Most of them are in a shoe box but we keep some of them in a little coupon organizer… but they fade making it hard to refer back to them!

  61. Angie Fowler says:

This would be awesome to have…better than my 12 envelopes with each month written on them!

  62. Embarrassingly, I don’t. It’s a mess!

  63. I tape them down to regular paper, hole punch the paper, and store in a binder for the year.

I just keep them all in a file folder. I could really use a more efficient system.

  72. Trying to keep my receipts for the school PTO, and all the money I spend on my after school kids in a box.
