This is the furniture make over I was talking about in THIS post…
My mom and I totally made over my college desk! This thing cost $100 dollars and has been a big part of my home since college…
It was time for a makeover in order to be a part of the
Multi Purpose room!
Here is the room inspiration:

b e f o r e:
see the ring stain…that was there when we bought it, and the reason it has the stained checkered pattern…
 taking the desk a p a r t :
the drawer has been broken since the day I bought it, and it was always a little wobbly…the bf and mama helped fix both of these issues!
s a n d i n g :
I sanded the entire piece lightly…just make sure you can not feel any ridges
s p r a y  p a i n t i n g:
Put the legs back on the base and begin the spray pain process. I used Rust- Oleum brand oil based spray paint…the entire desk took 3 cans. The trick to spray paint is s l o w and steady. Let the layers dry in between and spray at least 18in. away from the object!

UPDATE: HERE is the paint I used
UPDATE: The desk got another addition…HERE is the tutorial!
