Book Review: Micro Crafts

Microcrafts introduces readers to a world of miniature arts and crafts—each of the projects featured in the book are no larger than a spool of thread!

There are 25 projects in all and most are meant to be fairly quick and easy, whether you are an experienced crafter or a beginner. All you need is a few odds and ends and some everyday tools and supplies. Oh, and maybe a good pair of glasses! How cute is this little  flower pendant necklace :) Christmas gift for your sister?

I love the color illustrations and that the book lays open flat so that you can use your hands…you know, make the craft while you’re trying to read what to do next! I love these tiny animal heads out of clay…what a funky little addition to a gallery wall! Or maybe ornaments on a Christmas tree?!

I think I am going to use these as cupcake toppers for the BF’s 30th next month :)

I love the monster babies… see the red guy on the cover? You could make a few and secretly hide them in your kids pockets… to find at school the next day :) A monster baby is sure to make you smile! Microcrafts was compiled by Margaret McGuire, Alicia Kachmar, Katie Hatz, and friends. Together they form a collective of crafters obsessed with tiny things.
