Better after: MP Room?

The  M P  room= Multi Purpose Room
[guest/office/craft]

[if you have NO idea what I'm talking about...see HERE & HERE ]
Much better view when you walk in the room :) I love crafting even
m o r e at my little cozy desk! –I just wish the yellow wasn’t SO yellow…
Goodwill shelf redo…just needed a little love…HERE is more info

[i NEED to paint that dowel!]
I love having everything out in the open…it is SO convenient to use and put away…I feel like this shelf has helped me to be neater with my crafts…much appreciated from the BF!

The closet also got a makeover…the brown shelf that I made in college now lives in my closet and houses my shoe collection…funny story…more on that later :) HERE is more on the closet. HERE is more on the mosaic candle holder sitting o the file cabinet. My mom cross stitched the pretty flowers on the wall…she is a cross-stitch-aholic :)

I needed an inexpensive solution to cover a HUGE wall…After some inspiration from a friend, I decided on baskets. HERE is more about the neck roll pillow made from old leggings. HERE is more on the quilt. HERE is more on the basket art. [I still want to spray paint that floor lamp white!]
Made the grommet curtains with fabric from IKEA.
[The before even shows the lovely aero bed that lived in the room for sooo long :) ]
ahhh…my desk. I’m oh so happy with this thing :)   I was ready to give it away, but my mom convinced me to give spray paint a try!
HERE is the desk part 1 and HERE is the desk part 2.

I actually had to make 2 versions of this…HERE is the first version…

One more pic of the details:

Have you ever spent so much time on a makeover, and in the end felt a little disappointed?  I’m really not in love with the yellow I chose for the walls AND ceiling. It can be painted over one day, right? Not a huge deal. Until then, I tell myself how cheery this room feels. It is definitely the brightest room in the house… paint and sunlight!

Lesson learned: it’s worth a little extra to buy sample paint and live with it for a little!
