These create a lot of bang for your buck
They make such a big impact for not so much money. I first saw the tutorial over at made. Super easy sewing. Straight lines, ladies
Set your tension high and make your stitches as long as they will go. The streamers cost me $5 bucks and took about an hour! Festive, ehh (sometimes I like to pretend I’m Canadian

4 tips for hanging:
- I used tacks and it worked like a charm
- Twirl the streamer as you hang
- Don’t think about where your tacking, just go with it!
- I had much better luck hanging them from the the celling versus hanging on a wall… I wish I would have taken a picture of my streamer hanging situation above the mirror below… bad news.
The beach balls were a dollar each at Target, and a little trickier to hang. I used fishing wire and tacks. Making them level was hard and why the middle one is a few inches higher
One thing to notice… The yellow streamer is only one single streamer with a stitch right down the middle. This one is definitely the easiest to make, and still looks good hanging up (see above the kitchen island). If you’re nervous, try making this version first

Ruffles make most things cuter, right?
Do you have tips for party decor in big spaces and high ceilings? I thought about tissue paper balls…
p.s. Hobby Lobby, Wal Mart and Target all have different shades of crepe paper (I found 3 different shades of blue)!
p.p.s. made has more tips for crepe paper streamers right HERE.
