This is the exciting part of the post
(well, as exciting as a post about air vents can be!)
We buy a 16 x 25 air vent. It is the closest thing there is to what we need
Measure and cut to make it the exact dimensions.
Use an exacto to cut…
Pull off the extra cardboard…
Push the stuff back into the vent…
Workin’ it…
aren’t we cute
The house smells delicious. I’m not going to lie, the flavor was super intense for about 4 days. It’s been 2 weeks now, and the smell is subtle and lovely
How do you feel about air fresheners? What is your favorite scent? Do you have a favorite air freshener brand (I have a car scentsy thing I LOVE)? Do you have to DIY your own air vent? I would love to hear your thoughts on scents and vents
UPDATE: The Elliot’s informed me of filters-now.com–you can get any filter ANY size, any time. Just thought this might be a helpful tid bit for others with filter dilemmas

We've done this and I love it!
We haven't done it in awhile, but I think it's time again
xo
This is such a good idea! I am going to make my husband do this for me very soon.
By the way, I am hosting my very FIRST link party and I would love to have you link this to it–

We do have to DIY our vent….. Only ours is on the floor & very large so have 1 large next to a small 1. Sorry can't remember the dimensions! Haven't even heard of the scent you can put in it…. Good to know!
Yikes! Lots of work to change a filter! Good job!
(Girl! Is that an Aggie ring in picture #5??? Whoop!)
We used to live in a house with a weird filter size and just started ordering them from filtersnow.com. Order a six month supply and younalways have a filter and they can set up automatic shipping.
I thought I saw an Aggie ring too! We use these and we get the tropical scent. It is true that it is so intense, almost to the point of nauseating, but it is really nice for the next month or so!
brilliant! i wonder if you could spritz them with aromatherapy or essential oils too? with just the right impact? hmmm… this would be more effective than my scentsy plug in! haha
Janet and The Johnson family– it is an Aggie ring
The BF is an Aggie, I'm a Longhorn! People ask him about it everywhere…even in China! Are you both Aggies?
The Elliots– thank you for the tip about filtersnow.com! I'm going to add that to the post!
Another mixed relationship! Good luck.
DH and I are both Ags. Harmony in the sports arena. LOL.
I don't use scented things but if you like it, go for it.
