A few things…

I don’t do this often, but I felt the need to share a few things :) Squirrels, school supplies, dinos, designs teams, and garage sales to be exact. The squirrel does not even need an introduction… sunbathing, bridge, yoga? I mean seriously….

DINO: I made another dino planter…  a hot pink brontosaurus :) This is a house warming gift for a friend… what do you think?

SCHOOL SUPPLIES: I blogged about Office Depot’s good deals the other day. There are more great back to school deals….all you need for this trip is .16 cents… Me and my 16 cents are going back to Office Max every. single. day this week. You can only buy 5 spirals and 2 packs of pencils at a time. Deal ends Saturday, August 27th.

GARAGE SALES: If you live in Austin you need to check out the City wide garage sale. It’s $5 to get in (unless you get on the email list to get the dollar off coupon!) It only happens once a month, and there are at least 75 booths. There is so. much. stuff… I loved the the furniture and architectural pieces. I saw someone get a great deal on an old, rustic mantle that was to die for. There were food (samples of the best turkey jerky ever), fabric and tons of odds and ends…

need beads? i have never.ever. seen so many beads.

I got this table runner for $5 bucks. There were tables and tables of fabric (scarves, vintage table cloths, doilies, t-shirts, sheets)…and you paid for it by the pound.

I also got a cute little t-shirt for myself…

DESIGN TEAMS: One last thing I am excited to share with you, I am going to be a regular contributor over at PSA Stamps! Remember THIS post? Well, I decided to do it :) Check out my little bio over at PSA Stamp Camp.

Phew, I think that’s all for now :)

  3. How did you make that dino? I have been wanting one of those– I love love it!!

  4. Thank you so much for posting the tutorial the other day with the dino planter and where you bought them! I went to Target and bought 6 dinosaurs to make Christmas presents for co-workers.

  5. Ok, today I'm doubly jealous of you! Jealous of your monthly city wide garage sale, with tables of fabric, sold by the pound! (Though I'd be a lot broker and would need a much bigger space for my fabric stash here at home if I had an opportunity to buy like that.) And jealous that you 'have' Earl. Our two dogs keep our yard squirrel and rabbit free. I know they can be annoying and troublesome at times, but squirrels are so fun to watch! Thanks for sharing :)
